Stuck in the Middle

good evening my fine ladies of the ggcol and whatnot.
I am in the middle of a great night of Greys anatom y splendor. Greys anatomy and wine that is. thought I might make a journal post whole I was int he neighborhood of the internet. 
lets see. I got another rejection today. stupid georgetown. so they apparently have this money crisis in the admissions office so they send secondarys to everyone, you pay the 130 dollars and they immidiately reject a crapload of those becuase they forgot to mention that they have a gpa and mcat requirement, anyone above a certain number gets an interview. I bet b-stat got an interview. as if he isn't good enough, he has like the worlds best med school application, geez!
anyway. I am doing the watch an entire season in a weekend ting and i really dont think that greys anatomy is a good show to watch after med school rejection. it tends to stir up feelings of oh my god I want to be a doctor and whatnot. #@$%^ I ran out of wine.....hmm i think I;ll live.

orals pants will ride again tomorrow!!!

I am doing a big fatty presentation of Heather (my post-doc) and my research tommorrow for all of our institute. I have decided that the orals pants should come out of the closet and ride again. Although I am not sure what I think about using the words "pants" and "ride" in the same sentence.

I am confinent that all will go well, I have done a lot of practicing...

turned in one more application today...3 to go. any day now I can get interview invitations....

going to watch GG and VM now.

Oh by the way, that Theta-beta-pi party looks like hell to me. Dresses and pink and acapella....ewwww If anyone can get me the recipe for the "panty-dropper" drink I will be forever greatful.

Here is another thing that you psych people can help me with. The prisoner and guard experiment. I think I remember that from intro to psych and I think it ended badly.

Well on a more personal note I am preparing for my Military medical school interview. it is next thursday. I am thinking air force because they treat their people the best and they get paid a lot, and I like blue rather than green, black or white uniforms. Working on my reasoning for wanting to go into military medicine. Something about being all patrotic and loving people. yeah.

here are my questions before this episode starts
1. what happened to Veronica at the airport?
          answer apparently he shows up later. hmmmm
2. What did the Ho-lady Casablancas want from V's dad?
          "bail-jumper" aka her/ ha!!! helping her leave town. I think I need to remember details from previous season. Why does she need to leave town?

So what is with all of the Neptune alums going to the same college?  That is very convienient.
When did Logan get so cute? The room key thing? and as a nice side note I love how I can see a little bit of protectiveness in there [note the look at the new guy and then he kisses veronica].

So this episode goes really serious really fast. Is the lady who plays Kendall Casablancas on another show or did they just get sick of her? Also I really need to go back and look at the episodes about Veronica visiting Hurst. The "larger mystery" made an appearance and I think that I remember something about the girls that got their heads shaved. I thought that she solved that, but I guess not.
Well I am off to bed for now. In closing I am pulling for Logan and Mac. Woot for tragicaly cute guys and computer geeks

Nothing super exciting happening to me this weekend. I am house sitting for a co-worker and taking care of her OCD dog Baxter. I am thinking about going into the city.
random thought for the day. What is with all of the really awful looking horror flicks? I just saw a trailer for "Pulse". Dead coming back? Why would anyone care? Zombies? (decent) nevermind. I am on a rant.
well off to catalogue some chemicals...work over the weekend. yeahhhh!

Welcome to my first web journal.
Yeah, nothing much to report as yet. I have just arrive at work and am awaiting instructions from my post-doc (I refer to her as the Mother Ship). I am super hyped up to take a trip up to New York on friday. I have never been there but Rachael DeRusha is being nice enough to let David Mummy and I crash at her upper east side appartment for the weekend. I also hope to track down "The Man" and do lunch or something. See how he is adapting to the real world where it is not so OK to sleep through a meeting or class.
